Paul Tompkins is a 25-year veteran of the motion picture/television industry with over 20 years experience in Hollywood. He currently writes, produces, and directs films and television shows through his independent production company CrazyFish Films.
Paul has authored or collaborated on over a dozen feature screenplays and was represented as a screenwriter by International Creative Management (ICM).
As an actor he has appeared in lead or supporting roles on national commercials, soaps, and prime time shows including "L. A. Law," "Dallas," "Murder She Wrote," "Matlock," "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Days of Our Lives," and movies such as "Acceptable Risks" and HBO's "By Dawn's Early Light."
Behind the camera, he has worked alongside notable producers and directors including Roger Corman, Gale Anne Hurd, James Cameron, Francis Ford Coppola, John Frankenheimer, and Joel Schumacher.
Deborah Tompkins is a reader and story editor of film and TV scripts; she options scripts and books; raises production funds; coordinates and produces with movies for CrazyFish Films and is a muse for her writer/producer/director husband, Paul Tompkins.
For five years, she was the office manager and location scout for the Oklahoma Film and Music Commission and acquired detailed familiarity of statewide locations for use in filming.
Before that, she was in the real estate and mortgage industry for over twenty years. She is an accomplished puppeteer. After experiencing the empty-nest syndrome, she went back to school, changed careers, and enjoys all aspects of the film industry.
Shane Fuller is Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at East Texas Baptist University. He has directed a variety of shows including "The Foreigner", "Charley's Aunt," "Midsummer Night's Dream," "The Boys Next Door," "Vain," "Hamlet," "The Mysteries: Journey of Belief," "Oedipus Rex," and independent movies, "Making Faces" and "Confessions." He also produced and directed "Hamlet3," which he toured in Dallas and Chicago with his professional theatre company, Live Tropical Fish.
Shane Fuller is an accomplished set designer. He has designed sets for the above mentioned shows, as well as "Steel Magnolias," "The Mysteries," "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat," "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Finian's Rainbow," "A Doll's House" and "She Loves Me."
His acting roles for stage and screen include the Stage Manager in "Our Town;" Polonius and Laertes in "Hamlet3;" and playing the lead role of David Ghant in the FBI Files special, "The Unperfect Crime," which airs on the Discovery Channel.
He is also a writer, painter, sculptor, lighting designer, and graphic artist.
Kent Jones is a 30-year veteran of audio and video production. His company, Kent Jones Productions (www.kent-jones.com) produces projects for business, broadcast, and film, including location shooting, editing, looping, ADR, foley, recording, mixing, and mastering. His studio is also home to singers and musicians for recording and mixing of CDs and music videos as well as his own voiceover work.
He studied radio and television production at Ohio University. His 30 year broadcast career includes radio and TV stations in Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Indiana. Since 1988, Kent has been the Program Director at KOMA radio in Oklahoma City.
In 1989, he produced the video documentary, "Experience New York," for the Ohio office of Field Studies International. Kent also revived his acting ambitions appearing in commercials, industry videos, and feature films. His film credits include "Wisteria," "Two More Tomorrows," "Street Creatures," and "Star-Crossed."
Steve Griffin is a singer/songwriter who has contributed his love and talent for music to a number of different projects over the past 15 years. Steve started playing guitar at the young age of 11 and has expanded his artistic skills to include songwriting, producing, and writing music for film.
Steve's musical influences come from a wide spectrum of bands and artists including: John Mayer, Amos Lee, Damien Rice, Bebo Norman, James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Dave Mathews, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland, Marshall Tucker, Allman Brothers, and Metallica.
Aside from his musical endeavors, Steve's second love is computers. He has a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Philosophy from Oklahoma State University, and has spent the last nine years as a software developer for numerous companies in Oklahoma.
Melanie Hemry, winner of the coveted Guidepost's writing contest, has been a long-term contributor to the "Guidepost" magazine and has hundreds of published articles to her credit.
A ghostwriter for many years, she had 14 published books under her belt before branching out and writing under her own name. Her most recent books are A Healing Touch with Whitaker House and Hugs for Single Moms with Howard Publishing.
An avid playwright, Melanie launched from stage to the screen as a frequent attendee of the Screenwriting Conference in Santa Fe and the Reel Spirituality Conference in Hollywood with Act One. She is currently a screenwriter and producer at CrazyFish Films.
